As insane as this may sound, there is a way you can clean an Apple Design Keyboard (ADB model) after spilling a considerable amount fluid on it... -WITHOUT- having to open up the darned thing. In my case, I spilled Cup-O-Noodle's soup on the keyboard and knew that it would stink pretty bad if i had just wiped the keys and left the fluid under the keys to linger.
Simply soak the entire keyboard (not the connector at the end of the plug though) in a tub or large bucket/pail of pure warm water. Slosh and stir the keyboard around in the pail of water like you normally would if you were mixing instant coffee crystals in hot water. Pull it out of the pail, give it a shake, and hang it out to dry for at least a week and 3 days.
Another thing i should add.... i think it would be best to not use dishwashing detergent or other harsh chemicals....anything that'll mess up the normal pH balance of normal water. You don't want it to react bad to the internal circuitry of the keyboard's PCB and/or other components.
